The Clorox Company is Hiring a Fork Truck Operator (6am-6pm) Near Forest Park, GA
- Help support pulling palletizers and relieving FTO’s for breaks/lunches
- Performs daily inspections of electric powered forklift using correct documentation
- Ability to identify and provide information on quality issues with finished products
- Ensures that unsafe conditions get reported and corrected through the Hazardous Notification, BBS processes and write-up work orders for repair
- Ensures WPO and housekeeping standards are sustained
- Perform all necessary safety checks related to trailer loading and dock locking systems
- Maintain procedural compliance of forklift security and departmental tools
- Effectively plan and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision
- Properly fill-out documentation associated with unloading and loading practices within the department with minimal supervision
- Proficient with different types of forklift attachments, such as a slip-sheet unit, double-forks and clamp truck
- Understands and adheres to Regulatory compliance with OSHA & DOT standards
- Has knowledge of SDS’s and follows proper procedures for handling raw materials
- Works with other resources to improve line/equipment performance to goal
- Support department needs as an equipment owner for a forklift and/or battery
- Understand complex loading practices and maintain weight distribution for all types of carrier equipment
- Understand warehouse layout and capacity constraint
- Back fills Floater Position
- Hourly Compensation: $22.55 per hour
- Ability to perform as a Professional Forklift Operator
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented, willingness to learn, creativity, with sense of urgency
- Strong commitment to plant’s non-negotiables and company’s core values
- Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Workdays and schedule may change periodically for training purposes, and according to business needs.
- Must be able to work off shift and weekends
